Waiting patiently for Caly 3.5 LW. Otherwise, something new with a button lock. None of the recent models have caught my interest.

Caly 3 for me. I'd love to see a U.S. version with the newly-engineered Native 5 backlock design.

The Caly 3 is my favorite :spyder:. I hope that it will one day get the lightweight treatment like the Caly 3.5.

Re: We finally got the UKPK Salt. Thank you Sal
Thank you Sal, Eric, and Kelly for the UKPK Salt. I just pre-ordered one in PE (I'm eager to experience LC200N's performance compared to BD1N) and will likely pick up a second in SE later. I hope sales are strong enough to justify additional steel options for the UKPK.

I would love to see a UKPK in LC200N and yellow G10. I also hope to see a SPY27 model announced next year.

I'd love to see the Caly 3.5 LW made in the Golden facility (so we could enjoy some nice U.S. steels with that design). Taichung would also be excellent.

Re: Damascus UK Penknife UKPK
I think I would prefer to see a Damasteel UKPK with peel-ply CF scales. The pattern of the blade is what really draws the attention and the scales would balance looks with performance.

Re: Why can't we have an upgraded UKPK?
SPY27 steel and cobalt blue G10 :spyder: THIS! :D Oh, and I would also take one in LC200N with yellow G10. I would like to state that I think it is funny how much Spyderco (especially Sal) has been ahead of the curve in the knife buyer market. The trend towards modern traditional folders in the las...

Re: UK PK Love? future releases?
I'm definitely down for a day one purchase of a UKPK in LC200N. I'd like yellow FRN for the handle material.
I'm really eager to see how SPY27 performs. A UKPK in K390 also has my attention.

Re: LC200N UKPK drop point
A UKPK in LC200N would be a day one purchase for me. Especially if it had a yellow handle and leaf blade. :D It still perplexes me that it seems other modern slippies are getting more love and attention than Spyderco's. Perhaps a sprint run with an AFI steel and fancy handle materials? I think the m...

Re: Caly 3 love?
I guess I'm in the minority here - my favorite :spyder: is the Caly 3. I think it is perfect for my needs and packs more than enough cutting performance in the perfect size for EDC. With the discontinuation of the Caly 3, outside of sprint runs, I've settled for the UKPK. I hope that with the likely...

Re: Hope for the Caly 3.5?
I would love more of Caly 3's or 3.5's. It is by far my favorite Spyderco model. I'm eager to see how the Caly 3.5 LW will be. If sales are strong, I'd imagine Sal and company would be willing to experiment with more sprint runs.

Re: Steel preference for Caly 3.5 LW?
I would be fine with that but I'm not sure that would bring down the cost considerably. And you likely will have a lot of AFI's that would want a "better" steel on the model.bearfacedkiller wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 4:20 pmI thought it would be made in Golden? Hmmm....
What about BD1N? Keeps with the low cost theme of the LWs.

I cannot wait for the Caly 3.5 Lightweight. I'm hoping it has XHP, like the Chaparral.
And I know this is a dream, but I'd LOVE to see a Caly 3 Lightweight one day.

Enablers, the lot of yez. Got one incoming across the pond, and there was much rejoicing (except in my bank account) :p Same. :D The Caly 3 is my favorite model. I regret selling off my orange UKPK several years ago and now feel I've upgraded to red g10, haha. I'd LOVE to see Golden start making lo...

Re: Shot Show 2019
Although I understand, and agree, with the updated reveal policy, there is a cost to it. It seems like the cool prototypes will be reserved only for people who attend shows or meets and the rest of us will have to be patient in waiting months for the quarterly announcements. It kinda stinks but I th...
