Re: New Perrin St. Bowie

Nice pics of a sweet knife! I have been trying to generate interest in a sprint run of this awesome blade. Not too much interest thus far. :o

Re: Street Bowie Sprint

I was thinking of something like the Street Beat handle... only bigger.

Street Bowie Sprint

I'd like to gauge interest in a sprint run of the Street Bowie. I know the Street Beat is very popular and I think the Street Bowie is an awesome 'big brother' of this cool little knife but I would love to see it in a similar upgraded handle material (green or maroon linen micarta would be splendid)...

Yeah, I have seen this style on a Native 5... any idea how I go about ordering? Direct from the site is it?
ricechrispy wrote:Pretty sure you could order that directly from Spyderco. The Native 5 clip is a shiny hourglass clip with a lanyard hole in it. I'd be surprised if it doesn't fit on the Stretch.

Replacement clip source

Hey all, I want to replace my black clip on the Stretch CF with a shiny one, any idea where I can obtain this item? The black ones tend to show wear too much for my liking. Just to be clear, I'm looking for the Endura style clip, but in the shiny finish - with the hole through it for the lanyard. TIA

Oh, I havent received it yet. It still has to find its way to me, at the bottom of Africa. I will also probably buy another if they become available, just as a security blanket. In many ways, this is my ideal knife. I just hope they see their way clear to making a Yo2 XL. That would be beyond awesom...

Attention! The Yo's are starting to appear. I've got mine. Every crumb for himself. 6 months is nothing. I can do 6 months standing on my head! :D

Good news, thanks for the update! I just walked through the assembly area of the factory and was pleased to see a number of busy hands assembling Yojimbo2s. I know that our management folks do their best to allocate stock as equitably as possible, but back orders on this knife are significant. I hav...

No, its the opposite, it moves too freely. Its just loose in its moorings. is the lock just not moving? the same thing happened to mine. i noticed it when i was wiping the knife down with some tuf-cloth. i literally have only handled the knife for maybe 5 minutes and i bought it when they first came...

As someone who has been attacked by a wild animal I can tell you that its no easy thing to respond quickly or even to respond at all. Your protective instincts must be very strong, but as a parent that comes as no surprise to me. Glad your boy survived without major injury. I can assure you that sca...

OK thanks. Its not a major issue. The safety is pretty redundant really.

Citadel safety no longer works - can I send it in?

I have a Spyderco Citadel 93mm. Yesterday I noticed the safety no longer works. Can I send it in? Not sure how repairs work with autos. TIA.

Yojimbo 2 - where is it?

Have the Spyderco dudes got anything to report from the western front on this guy? Any sightings? Should we send out a recon party? Will it all be over by Christmas? Enquiring minds want to know... :p
