This is one model I have been eagerly awaiting.
Fit and finish is great and fantastic ergos, amazingly thin and the knife has a 'just the right size' feel to it in the hand.
The blade on my personal knife will rub on the inside of the liner very slightly if any downward pressure is used when ...

Fantastic job!
That looks great and definitely bonus points for making your own Micarta.
Both the scales and sheaths look really good.

Great Axe
I am in no way affiliated with this guy but he does great work.

I own the Snow & Nealy 15" Young Campers Axe modified by him and its a great size for camping.
It cuts like crazy.
The stock sheath is nothing special but that's about my only complaint.

EDC Pocket folder multi-tool knife
I an EDC type roll, I like lightweight. I find the screwdrivers are the the part of a multi-tool I personally use the most so I usually carry a lightweight Alox Victorinox along with another folder with a 3" or less blade. (usually Spyderco).
If Spyderco came out with a lightweight pocket sized ...

Laser engraved
I recommend going with knives with stainless steel handles.
We do plenty of laser engraving on blades too but I just think it looks especially classy on stainless handles.
My vote would be either SS Ladybugs, SS Dragonflys, or SS Robins. I did SS Dragonflys for my brothers wedding and the guys ...

I remember long ago wondering why the Delica couldn't have a little choil there. After seeing your pictures, I may have to revisit that idea...

Fantastic pictures
My favorites are the PPT, New Para 2, and the Dialex Jr. The FFG G10 Native will be a big hit too.
New Caly looks huge... I guess I'm probably part of a small minority who is holding out for a smaller Caly, not a bigger one.
Still holding onto hope of a sprint run ...

Pretty sure they are gone now.

I think a Ronin necker is a good idea...
I think I'd prefer to see a mini-Street Beat type necker myself like the Fred Perrin Neck Bowie.

The Swick was ok, the no sheath part was a bummer though...

Laser engraving
Laser engraving on black blades actually looks really nice. The contrast makes the text really stand out.
Having it done by Spyderco is a really nice option I was not aware of and would guarantee quality work.
We have not laser etched any black blade Spydercos yet (we've done plenty of non-black ...

I'll echo most others when I say the knife is pretty close to perfect as is.
Only thing I'd change is a deeper choil.
A version in black Micarta would be nice too though...

Another vote for the Caly3!
In my opinion the Caly3 is one of the nicest 3" folders out there period. Silky smooth opening, satisfying click as it locks, great jimping, choil, super slicer FFG blade, BLACK G10 handles, low ride wire clip.

Agreed
I too am a huge fan of jimping on knives and Spyderco really spoils us by doing it well and on a ton of their knives.
