You say ratchet, in Spain we say "carraca" or "muelles". Only one kind of knives have "carraca" : "navajas de carraca" or "navajas de muelle"

navaja: Cuchillo cuya hoja puede doblarse sobre el mango para que el filo quede guardado entre las dos cachas o en una hendidura a propósito

Translate ...

Navaja = pocket/folder knife

Navaja is not a model, navaja is the name that we have in Spain for pocket/folder knives
