I bought my dad two of them, the bread knife and the small utility. Very good knives, sharp and easy to use.

And my mom went right ahead and cut herself with both of them!

If you follow that line though, then the spydies are obsolete because of the Emerson Wave.....
There are a lot of different things that you can do with a good bali that you cant with another knife, and even BRAM appreciates them and used then when designing the Gunting.

a quote from off of bladeforums: Talonite is an amazing blade material. It has the strange property of really good edge retention, and easy sharpening. Usually you have to choose one or the other. It will not rust. It also seems to cut cut cut cut long after it feels dull and long after other steels...

You have a tufram civilian, which is how they where originally produced. Depending on what blade type, it should be worth somewhere about 130+

I now have one on the way. I purchased it because I want something while I send in my Darrel Ralph Apogee, which I purchased to have while waiting for my Mayos! I handled it in a store and really did like the total feel.

The real question here is how did you manage to trade a lum for a worker! The worker can still be bought for $70 US and the Lum is over $100....
