I love the Street Beat. It is my only Spyderco knife. I'm going to pick up a Tenacious sometime soon, but I prefer smaller fixed blades.

I spoke with Customer Service and they are taking care of it. Yeah, it looked like there was an air bubble in the rod and it heated up and exploded out causing the rod to come out, it looks like a piece of rice is coming out of the groove.
