Re: Spymyto is hot!
Careful tightening down the clip. I've seen at least one report of it breaking. Apparently there isn't much material in the area around the screw. Not my pics: https://i.postimg.cc/85gzWfCh/image.png How little material is there: https://i.postimg.cc/NMxBHNSc/image.png The one person I've seen take ...

I like the Delica SS idea. Being all steel it goes with the "white" motif of a wedding

Re: Salt steels for pool/chlorinated water.?
No chlorine experience, but I've never had h1 rust (and have used it the most), have had some gray staining on lc200n (just a couple models but two-ish years of use), and I've had red a couple small red rust spots on Magnacut (two knives with it, both picked up since the early Spring). Given that, I...

Re: Lost my Military 2
Any chance you wore something else as well that day? The couple times I lost a knife, I ended up finding them in pants or a jacket I didn't even remember wearing.
Hoping it turns up

Re: Copy Cat compression lock.
One of the big considerations for me about a compression-style lock from another company would be: Have they put enough attention into the details that make the lock as good as it is? Meaning materials, tolerances, etc., etc., in the same way that Spyderco does. I'm not saying they can't; I'm simpl...

Re: The Magnacut Paramilitary 2
If anyone wants to know, everything is swappable with other models. I tried a blade swap, no issues. I ended up just swapping G10 though so all the internals are together with the original blades. With three of them apart I was looking around for differences. The stop pin has a little bevel on the e...

Detent https://i.postimg.cc/dQf077Wk/PXL-20240501-175431597.jpg Edit: Just a heads up, I've had a lot of comp lock knives from Golden, and all of them have been apart. I've never had to pry the liner off the stop pin before, but this one I did. Could be just mine, could be due to a change, dunno. An...

Re: Anyone want to see Vanax in the salt series?
Love to see vanax in the dragonfly with a nice thin grind. I'd settle for magnacut but vanax would be better for Saltwater environments. The dragonfly is a very popular knife and could do with an upgrade from h1 even to Lc200n. I have two new catcherman in lc200n and it is a fantastic knife, had to...

Re: The Magnacut Paramilitary 2
Finally picked one of these up. Has anyone taken theirs apart? Looks like they finally upgraded the detent ball to ceramic. Makes sense for the Salt (but makes sense for all of them..) https://i.postimg.cc/pLrRrkfM/PXL-20240430-201435458.jpg Thanks for the update. Do we have any update or confirmat...

Re: Changes to OpFocus Program
Today I tried to sign up for OpFocus Program and I didn’t finish the application because at some point ID.me asked to provide my social security number. I thought this is ridiculous, why do I have to give my ssn in order to complete my application? Members of OpFocus please let me know if you had t...

Re: Changes to OpFocus Program
If it helps, ID.me is used on official government sites such as va.gov and irs.gov for login and identification, and it has contracts with and has received grants from the federal government, so it's not just like some random company on the internet.

We’re lucky Lisa didn’t tweak the name after something that was actually contemporary: Spanx 🤣 :rofl Spanx would be a good nickname for the skinny scale Manix. Re: MANIX NAME
From Sal We were having a meeting with Sales and Marketing trying to come up with name for Eric's latest design. In the realm of Lynx and Bobcat, both names already being used by competitors, I suggested "Manx" as a bob tailed cat. Then it was learned that a Manx is a female cat, which we ...

Decided to take mine apart and customize it. Replaced the detent with a ceramic one (2mm like every other Colorado comp lock model), skinnied it, and modified the front choil to not have the pointy g10 towards the front (I always do this, it opens up room for the tip of your index finger so is much...
