Re: Anyone want to see Vanax in the salt series?
Love to see vanax in the dragonfly with a nice thin grind. I'd settle for magnacut but vanax would be better for Saltwater environments. The dragonfly is a very popular knife and could do with an upgrade from h1 even to Lc200n. I have two new catcherman in lc200n and it is a fantastic knife, had to...

Re: The Magnacut Paramilitary 2
Finally picked one of these up. Has anyone taken theirs apart? Looks like they finally upgraded the detent ball to ceramic. Makes sense for the Salt (but makes sense for all of them..) https://i.postimg.cc/pLrRrkfM/PXL-20240430-201435458.jpg Thanks for the update. Do we have any update or confirmat...

Re: Changes to OpFocus Program
Today I tried to sign up for OpFocus Program and I didn’t finish the application because at some point ID.me asked to provide my social security number. I thought this is ridiculous, why do I have to give my ssn in order to complete my application? Members of OpFocus please let me know if you had t...

Re: Changes to OpFocus Program
If it helps, ID.me is used on official government sites such as va.gov and irs.gov for login and identification, and it has contracts with and has received grants from the federal government, so it's not just like some random company on the internet.

Re: MANIX NAME
We’re lucky Lisa didn’t tweak the name after something that was actually contemporary: Spanx 🤣 :rofl Spanx would be a good nickname for the skinny scale Manix. Re: MANIX NAME
From Sal We were having a meeting with Sales and Marketing trying to come up with name for Eric's latest design. In the realm of Lynx and Bobcat, both names already being used by competitors, I suggested "Manx" as a bob tailed cat. Then it was learned that a Manx is a female cat, which we ...

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)
Decided to take mine apart and customize it. Replaced the detent with a ceramic one (2mm like every other Colorado comp lock model), skinnied it, and modified the front choil to not have the pointy g10 towards the front (I always do this, it opens up room for the tip of your index finger so is much...

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)
Anyone skinny their scales yet? Mine came in today and thinking of making the move. Try RCBladeworks. MG2 Thanks! Couldn't find an example on their site, but they have one on youtube. If anyone else is interested: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/R0xHrGkLtVk Not sure I like the flat like I do a curve...

Re: Changes to OpFocus Program
40% is still a very good discount. It’s not a 40% discount. It’s 40% off of MSRP. For example, a plain G-10 PM2 is $265 MSRP. OpFocus price: $159 Street (MAP) price: $198.75 That’s about a 20% discount. Thanks, everyone understands that though. "Discount" is what Spyderco calls it, as sho...

Re: Changes to OpFocus Program
Doubling down on William's post, I also appreciate it. Fewer and fewer brands offer such a large discount to vets (and others). 40% is still a very good discount. I get the sprint run removal too, as those must have less profit margin.

Re: New Salt knives (black lock bar or plain)?
They do, but you probably want to call the dealer to verify what their stock is because it was a rolling change. Thanks, I though it was odd that an H2 blade came with an uncoated lock bar, since H2 replaced H1. I got two salts with mixed coated/uncoated parts as well, one from the factory store ev...

$150 for military 2's at KJ is better than OpFocus even. The s110v version sold out quick at that price

Depends on the knife. Normally I'll go tip down if it's longer and tip up if shorter though

Re: Crucarta, what's going on?
Unlike the above poster, I have seen quite a few posts with this exact complaint around the Internet in the various Spyderco and knife groups. It just seems to be part of the crucarta version, either due to micarta as yablanowitz said or something with the design. If you want a PM2 to use like that...
