Re: Para 3 cs clone?

Looks good to me going off the hardware.

It looks carried. Have you tried washing the handles? Might be dirt darkening it

Re: Reveal 4, What's your favorite release?

Pacific Salt 2 because the only thing that wasn't my favorite about the original was lack of tip down Pac Salt 2 makes me very happy too. For me it is not about tip down (I am tip up carry guy), but just to know should I ever need a replacement for my beloved yellow Pac Salt, it will be right there...

Re: Is DPS 15 Damascus "Real" Damascus??

A matter of semantics, but I wouldn't call the blade Damascus if it's only cladded in it. It's like saying those half cf half g10 handles are cf. The cladding is Damascus, the whole thing not. Just my .02

Love the design but not the size. I'm hoping it's popular enough to justify other sizes.

Pretty low carbon. Not surprised to see if in between like vg10 and s35vn. Still have to try it out though!

Re: Design details that are deal breakers

I'm with you on long grip placement and 50/50 choils. Knives with a handle length the same as a Shaman or PM2 get a whole extra inch of edge without the choils. 3" of edge on knives that size is a sin :)

Re: Change in price of Spydercos in 2020?

Similarly for the Delica (C11PBK): Year: MSRP, MAP 2017: 114.95, 68.97 2018: 114.95, 74.72 2019: 120.00, 78.00 2020: 120.00, 84.00 $15 in 4 years. So in 2024, say hello to $100 Delica? It went up about $15 over the four or five years before that, as well, so that isn't a crazy prediction.

Re: 2020 reveal predictions?

I'm not sure a Military LW makes sense apart from just changing the texture of the scales. The Military already has pretty minimal liners and I can't imagine G10 weighs so much more than FRN that changing the scale material will reduce weight enough to matter. Maybe if they completely eliminate the...

Re: Closure detention mod

You could go too far and make it a little "clicky"/wiggly closed, but it'd be really hard to mess it up so that the knife is not functional.

Good to know it's an easy mod Lyle, thanks for the heads up.

Re: Caly 3.5 Light Weight: Any News?

Still excited about this one! I'm curious about this one. Will it be re-engineered with an internal stop pin? Have there been internal stop pin designs out of Japan before? I can only think of Golden and Taiwan from memory The 3.5LW will be made in Taiwan according to Sal so it is possible that it ...

Re: Spydiechef Rusted After First Use

Not meant towards anyone in particular and not aimed at this thread as much as the others on LC200N and models using it, I'm sure why whether it is rustproof has ever even been a discussion point honestly (besides as brought up here, that Spyderco claims so in marketing material). The manufacturer i...
