Thank you...

As usual, you guys and gals really come through for a fellow spyder-nut! I am grateful for the advice, and was already thinking along the lines of The Millie and the Native. Thanks very, very much for your prayers and well wishes. It means more to us than I can express here in written words. :o To a...

Thanks for the fast replies, gang! My box is a black one, with a sticker designating the knife as C29P, for plainedge. I just wasn't sure if the Almite handle had a special numerical designation. It sure is a SWEET knife! It appears that my box is indeed the correct one for the knife. Thanks again! ...

Almite Cricket...

What was the numerical designation of the cricket in Almite-coated Aluminum scales?

I need to verify if one I recently acquired is in its "original" box, or not.

Thanx, gang!

Lanyard for Clip-less Spydie...

Does anyone know how to braid a lanyard for a clip-less knife? My old FRN clip broke off of one of my faves, and I'd like to learn how to braid a lanyard to allow pocket carry with easy access. Commissioning a skilled person to braid one for me is also an option I'd consider. I'm sure I'm not the on...

Serial number question...

how does Spyderco "engrave" the S/N's onto their blades? I was thinking about having a knife customized with a logo, and would like for it to look similar to a factory job, if possible.

Thanks!

I was wondering because I've seen it written both Nitride and Nitrate. I dug around a little but didn't have much luck with a clarification on the web.
