Ok guys, thanks for all the responses. In the end, I also found another problem with the grind on the "spyder" side of the blade-- near the top and back of the blade, the grind was uneven and produced a ripple effect when viewing the knife, and was noticeable when running your finger along the top ...

I just got my Khukuri, and I noticed a small defect on the blade.

Is this normal? Should I return it?

Just got my first :spyder: Spyderco in my hands- The Khukuri. The knife is wonderful, and the blade is very sharp. It was laughing at the paper I had in front of it.
