Hey Guys, Just got the drone of the endura after carrying SS version for a year. Drills for quick draw are really revealing on the time factor to get to response position. Any insight on the this training aspect?

Thanks Gary good question and the responses are good. My question is what is the best polish for Damascus stainless steel or is it the same as regular principles of maintaing steel finish?

How much "Tanto Waza" does your sensei teach?

Earthworm, I'm a P.T. working in an urban indigent care state hospital. Short blades get less comments. Around here 3.75 in. is the limit for one hand folders. A few of the patients share their knife stories or their carry. I've even used practice patterns for ROM exercises for UE pt's. Nicholls

As a health care professional I sometimes use a knife to open packages, boxes, wrapped stuff. Usually it's with in the legal limit of length but I get reactions that imply I'm dangerous. I wonder if any body else hears this and what's a good way to respond to this?

If I use this knife in a self defense situation, are there any specifics to use in a legal deal regarding it's shape and design intent?

Tanto Waza is a wonderful art. Try going up against somebody trained in steel cuts flesh reality training if you want ckeck out self defense in the street.
