Re: Spyderco paramilitary 2

Just that it's the finest, IMO, folder that Sal has ever produced. I've had many, in many flavors, and they just cannot be beat. The compression lock is just plain fun to play with.
Do it, sir. :)

Thanx for the replies. Yes, it is pricey and the model is awfully new. The carbon fiber is nice, though, and I might just pick one up. One nice thing...I know I can resell without taking a major loss, if it's not a keeper.
Spyderco is where it's at.

Info on the dice, please

Not sure whether I want one, even though the blade-steel is excellent. I like blades less than 3" for gifting to relatives from other states. I have various Sage models and Natives. I like a long enough grip to hold onto, and the Sage 2 is a pretty good minimal length. I am not seeing many Dice...

Now, Jim, I woulda thunk that Sal would send you one...free...right away. You probably helped produce
that Mule...one way or another. I'm just about in pig heaven...waiting for it to arrive.
Have read that it "might" be thin behind the edge...hoping...

Today, I mailed out my TAD Dauntless to a buyer. I love that folder, but the first (and only) time that I stabbed the blade into a cardboard box to check it out, the blade caught in the choil and I hated that. I've had lots of Striders and Spydercos with choils but I gotta tell ya...I'm NOT a believ...

You've done a great job. Once upon a time in the forest...I could follow all of that.
I'm retired, and usually tired, so I'll settle for your conclusions.
Again, sir, I'm quite impressed. Thank you.

Somehow, this one sentence speaks VOLUMES. I had two Southards; sold them. Now I have two Dominos. Will see.

Agree on this one - I think the Domino has all the attributes of a winner, not too big not too small, very comfortable knife, great lock, blade shape, quick and fun to deploy I would think this one will be a big hit. Me, too. I just bought two NIB Dominos this morning, to start the New Year off rig...

I usually see regs that limit blade-length of folders to three inches. That seems pretty common. I have to be concerned about this as I like to gift grandsons in several states that are picky on blade-length.

I'm fairly certain that this would be considered a request for custom work. I do not believe Spyderco takes that kind of request. I've requested a slightly shorter blade before with some other very-well-known companies and have been refused. Quite frankly, the only way to get the company to do it.....

Thanks for nice pics. I'm looking at the Domino with interest. Had two Southards; sold 'em, was not excited although excellent design and blade-steel. Always thought that the LBS tab on the Southard looked shabby, out of place. Darned near anything else would have been better. Domino is nice size; m...

I just bought a NIB baby blue FRN stretch on BF yesterday. Yes, of course I'd like CF, but I had a blue FRN once, NIB, which I had to sell. This time, I'll keep it. I really don't carry these things, but I surely love to look at 'em.
