Thanks HellHound. I put it next to the Byrd because it has that same kind of feel. It actually is one of my favorite EDC's, just the right size and very strong.

Thanks guys. Riot it is g10. The way the light hit it made it look different. Sharpguitarist I like the Viele too, always wanted the white one. I can't remember the name of it. The bug knife is just too cute, it's like a Spyderco for a GI Joe.

Here is our joint collection so far. I travel the country a lot and find good deals on discontinued models.

Scored a Salsa in San Antonio

Found this blue Salsa at the SA gun show yesterday. Razor sharp. I also found a beautiful young lady that made lanyards for $5 each.

That is beautiful craftsmanship. Is the Captain in the background yours too? I would love to see that one when he gets done with it. I have owned a few Spyderco's that were inlayed and engraved but the artists always left the clip side alone. Yours is done all the way around. Very nice work, Roman ...

Tony you are a brave man. I wouldn't try to remove a raccoon myself. Another option is get a good dog, if not allergic. Mine keep out a lot of varmints that my neighbors have problems with. Just a suggestion, I know some people are not dog people. James

EDC rotation, Captain aboard...

My Captain came in yesterday and I added it to the line up of my carry knives. The Goddard sees little pocket time, only if I wear slacks. The CS is mostly for outdoor stuff. Last Friday we went to a BBQ that had plastic forks and no one had a knife to cut their meat with. It worked very well, cut ...

I owe Spyderco an apology

I am so sorry I ever hesitated on buying a Byrd. I received my stainless Crossbill in the mail today and I can't stop smiling. What a great knife, my only regret is that I didn't order more models. Thank you for making this line at this price. James (Badbull)

I bought a friend of mine a Remote Release for her bedside. I'm sure this lady you speak of is capable and she would know that a knife would be a last line if everything else failed. The RR works out a little better for some people that don't want a knife clipped to their pocket. My friend had hers ...

That is a scary situation USMC. I had a friend that passed a few years ago in the same kind of accident. A passer by saved his fiance but could not get to him in time. I wonder if the EMT's just discarded your Endura because it was broken. I know a few that carry Spydies for the exact scenario ...

Serrations were a little worn, no chipping or breaking. Yes it was the aus steel. I remember at that job we were given those box cutters with the disposable razors to use and I declined when they asked if I needed a knife. Never had much use for those they are pretty dangerous IMO.

Yeah the truck ...

my job. I was working in a warehouse that supplied a wireless network company and we had a huge rollout to all our new users. The rollout consisted of 270 pallets of supplies each going to a new location. I was a shipping clerk but also the last man in the building that had to lock up. After hours ...

Thank you folks. I am more of a SE fan but I just couldn't pass it up. I hope my next purchase will be the Captain. I really like the looks and feel of that one.

Scored a Goddard today...

This is my first Spyderco with a colored handle(besides black or stainless). Found this at a local shop, guy said it was used but there is not a mark on it. I like the size and the light weight. I'm getting used to the gray, it's different.
