How about a feature like shallower hollow grinds such as those found on kitchen knives? I wonder why I never see a hollow grind that extends the full height of the blade.

I had a similar experience but on an orange Military. After ceaseless tinkering and aggravation I ended up shipping it back to be returned because the liner lock only connected while the blade was misaligned. However, I can pass on the advice to you.
