Re: SpydieChef - Out of Stock

The Spydiechef has been my main carry for many months and I think it is my favorite user knife ever, regardless of price. I was lucky and got it brand new from a retailer for $168 a little over a year ago. It now is selling for $214. It is a great knife, but that price is a bit ridiculous. I also ha...

Re: A new fix for the Slysz Bowie pocket clip

The lightweight manix comes with a non-deep carry wire clip. Does anyone know if this clip is long enough to fix the pocket snag issue?

Hi Madness, Great pic. What's her name? We'll pray for her., sal Thanks for the prayers. Her name is Samantha. She was originally diagnosed with cancer when she had just turned 1 years old. Yeah, I made sure she opened the knife first 'cause I knew she would need it for those boxes.

That Dragonfly Tattoo is also a nice knife. Almost got that one for her. I was debating between the purple Delica and that Dragonfly.

Daughter's 1st Real Knife

When I asked my 11 year old Daughter what she wanted for X-Mas, at the top of her list was, "a real knife like Dad's". I am carrying a PM2. She got a purple Delica for X-mas. She is now fighting her second bout with cancer, so, with the help of Spyderco, this turned out to be one of her be...

I much prefer Tip-Up carry. If the knife is tip-up and opens in the pocket I may cut off my finger, but if the knife is tip-down in the pocket and accidentally opens, I may cut off something much more important than my finger.....

New Pocket Clip Finish

I was reading the 2012 Amsterdam Meet thread posted by Mr. Blonde and he posted a picture of the Tuff (see below). It appears that the clip has a new finish that is similar to the baked-on finish of other manufacturers. I prefer this finish much more than the black painted finish. I hope Spyderco st...

We are acutely aware of past issues with forum knife sales and we will take every precaution that we can to insure that the sale of the 2012 forum knife is as fair as possible. ;) It sounds like the Spyderco crew has everything in hand, but here is an idea to make sure everyone gets one. There are ...

I hate buying foreign made and assembled knives, for no other reason other than I just prefer to support my home country. I think I will need to make an exception to my "rule" with this knife. I was on Brad Southard's waiting list to get a custom, but it did not work out. So, now it looks ...

I do not understand the advice many here have given about keeping the knife in your pocket and keep it concealed, and you should be okay. Why have the knife at all? By definition, once the knife is used it is no longer concealed. Any time the knife is used, you run the risk of being seen by a office...

If you like the Chinese Lum design, I would recommend the CF version. I had the TI version and sold it. To me, the TI did not fit the look of the knife and the smooth handles had a stainless steel look to them that made the knife look "cheap". I think the Lums look best with dark handles c...

YCS that has 123 in stock states this is the Monteng Exclusive, so I do not think these are the regular production.

What Happened - Lum TI Chinese

What happened to the LUM Titanium Chinese Folder? This is a limited edition of 500 pieces, I think. I just checked at YCS and they still have 123 in stock. Considering it has been out about 4 months, they do not seem to be selling too well. Maybe they increased the limited edition batch size? I know...

Poor assembly, engineering and/or quality control.
