LIFETIME Warranty from spyderco?

i was wondering about spyderco's warranty policy because i have a liner-lock knife and when the lock craps out (wears out) on me in a couple of years time am i going to be stuck with a hunk of metal no one wants?

one more thing i forgot

Ats-55 is an all around use knife material
that is why they use it on the delica and endura, their most popular sellers.

good edge retention, strength and corrosion resistance.

i'm really not sure why, that's a question i've been asking myself actually... but if i were you, i'd hold up on the endura or delica, because they are getting rid of the ats-55 for next years production to make way for the vg-10 they will be using. but like i said, it all depends on what you need i...

SOG v.s. Spyderco

I have been to the Sog website and i was looking at some of their knives I noticed that the majority of their knives are made with 440A steel. I compared their knives to Spyderco's and i want to know why they put better steel in most of their knives?? also they were the company the US Navy SEALS pic...

i was thinking about purchasing my first spydie knife and i wasn't sure what i should get..i do a lot of rock climbing and mtneering and wasn't sure if the snap-it is right for me..i know i like the hook on the end but won't it get in the way of the knife? i'm not sure if i should get plain or serra...
