I don't personally mind liner locks. That being said, I don't think they are the best locking mechanism there is out there. They are just easier to close. I have found though that the caged ball lock, with a tiny bit of practice, is just as easy to close and far more powerful lock with less chance ...

A question about a old gen G-10 Police.

I'm a Poliwog fan too. I carried the ss verison for a long time untill the Lava came around. The G10 version has made sure, I once again carry a Poliwog at work. The ergos are great, as is the blade control. I don't think jimping on the spine would work well. I have plenty of control on the blade ...
