I was the first one to handle the "pass around" salsa a while back and I loved it. I'm going to Korea next week and wanted a knife that didnt look like a knife but wasn't completely useless. I went into the knife store and immediately thought about that Salsa that I liked. Despite the fact...

Improvement to my Military

Not really. I work at an Army Hospital here in Hawaii and was taking a piece of equipment out of service because it was unfit for use. When we do this we usually cut the plug so that no one else tries to use it. I recommend unplugging any piece of equipment before you ut the power cord. OOPS! What d...

PsychGrad Get a Military now dude and save up for the paramilitary later. I'm sure it won't be out for at least a couple of months. I pretty much had the same question about the Military as you "is it too big?" I have to say that if the Military's blade is legal wherever you are then no th...

the clip on the Salsa actually does a good job. I had the pass around Salsa for a week and a half and one thing I never had a problem with was the clip. plus it's tip up which rocks. Think I gotta go pick one up soon

Ti Salsa Questions

Howdy! I need a couple of questions answered about the Ti Salsa. Is it a Framelock? Does it have the Wire clip like on the Aluminium one? and last is it also made in Taiwan? I want to get one but probably won't be able to make myself carry a knife that says Taiwan stamped on the blade. Thanks Brandon

actually another knife in a different price range (not trying to offend anyone by mentioning a competitor just putting out information) is the Microtech Amphibian. meets almost all of your requirements but in a more powerful recurve blade

Lum chinese definately fits your bill but also the smaller salsa would pretty much cover both areas. it's small but not real small and it feels like a much bigger knife plus it comes in sheeple friendly colors and has a compression lock

I recently bought an Emerson PSARK and I gotta tell ya the wave is so fast it's like pulling a fixed blade out of your pocket. it's not only fast it's very useful for opening with gloved hands because you don't mess with any opening stud, disk hole or anything. it's not just a novelty. IMHO it is up ...

hey Kahz have you ever handled a pegasus or a navigator? I just wondered how the Mouse is in comparison as a small knife. I saw a picture of a mouse after I had already ordered my Pegasus so I didn't have a choice after that but I just kinda wonder if i'm missing something.

I respond to almost every post with the word Harpy in it Praising the Harpy as the best knife since the one that slices all of that sliced bread. But with the title of this one i was gonna let ya know that there are some things that even the wonderful Harpy was not meant to do. Obviously I was wrong...

for a frozen twix i would say that my serrated teeth do best. cutting it with my Spyderdo would probably void the warranty. ya know what though I bet a Chinook would do the job. guess I'll have to get one now

I'm relatively new to the Spyderco family so I have only two. I mention it every post so here it is my HARPY yup it's my fave. below it is my Pegasus that I just bought (the box said experimental but y'all helped me figure out that it's a Pegasus.) and under that is my favorite candy of all time a f...
