Re: PE Hawkbill reprofiling, sandpaper and block method?

I've been looking at something lately as well for my new Tasman pe. I've been thinking of getting the Flexi-Sharp from DMT. They come in extra fine to extra course. They are .006" thick to wrap around an object but they're only 2"x3". I was also thinking of getting the 3M micro-abrasi...

Re: FB14P4 – Swick 4 Leaf with Sheath

@paladin - It's hard to tell and I haven't looked at my Swick 2 in a while, but it looks like there's no jimping on the bottom of the large hole unlike the Swick 2. It could be the picture but it looks like the Swick 4 has a shorter blade and the frame is thicker. Again, that just might be the pictu...

I believe no one but the Spyderco crew and even then they might not know when it is coming out as is typical with most product coming out of Spyderco. Too many factors involved to get an exact date.

I'm really looking forward to this small neck knife.

It's funny but when I received my first Para-Military 2 I thought the lock was made for the left hand. With a bit of practice I can now easily swing the blade in all the way into the handle without the need to let the choil hit my finger first.

I've got that one in my pocket right now. I really like this version of the native. Fits very well in my hand and can put a decent edge on the XHP.

Don't make a right hand turn at a red light. You will get a ticket in Montreal. They have photo radar around Montreal. Last time I was there, 2 summers ago, I was doing 119km/h (74m/h) in a 100km/h (62m/h) zone and got a ticket. Around Toronto that would never happen but Quebec is a different animal...

Nice write up. Good tip on cutting cardboard or any thicker material with the knife on an angle as apposed to 90° to the cardboard. I was cutting cardboard at work a couple weeks ago and my colleague was amazed at how easily it went through it. I let him try it and he was just laughing and cutting. ...

I've been carrying my cf zdp Stretch for the last few weeks, which is odd for me as I usually change it up quite a bit, but a brown G-10 Stretch with modified choil is very exciting. I have my Calypso sprint with brown G-10 in front of me. The brown on it is a very nice colour. To be honest I'm not ...

Being left handed it was the liner locks and the frame locks that at first I thought would be trouble to maneuver but they are actually quite easy to unlock. Some like the Rock Lobster don't leave a lot of room to open up with the left thumb. In those cases a slight modification would be beneficial.

I've bought two or three different knives at the same time and it's difficult to choose between them. Strange but I like getting one knife at a time and spending some quality time with it. When I get more than one I start thinking too much about which one do I use. One is just easier for me.

Looking at getting the scissors model and I figure as a lefty who's carried a non-left handed Military and a Chokwe in my left pocket then a ClipiTool shouldn't be a problem.

Increasing demand would stop or slow the flippers but a few of the Mules in the past were slow to sell. Beyond that I have no idea.

My wife and daughter and I were out walking on Lake Ontario today, thank God for the ice :) , watching the ice fishers and sail boarders but wished we had some snow shoes as the snow is about 6" or so. Not that deep but we're thinking of getting snow shoes so we can walk in the woods and such. ...

I like the 2015 a lot. The 80's were the years Ford made a mess of the Mustang even though I owned one and loved it back then but they sure weren't too good looking. Ford made a comeback in the mid 90's and are still looking good up until today.

I use to eat at Subway all the time and would get a BMT mostly. Don't eat there that often now a days but the reason I liked it back then was they were the only place that had jalapeno peppers. No one else seemed to have them in the past, at least around here. These days I go to this Mom and Pop cal...
