Deac, I think you've pointed out an obvious hole in the D3 handle lineup: a reverse S blade :D

I think the handle would be a perfect match for a 3in cricket or matriarch style revers S :D
Of course, I'm probably just dreaming, but I did carry my black Salt 1, so it can't just be a coincidence ...

How about one with a Cricket-style reverse-S blade (and serrations as an option, for me...)?

I just put my SS Cricket SE back in my pocket in lieu of my Urban because I love the SE and the "beak" on the blade for the "picking" type tasks that come up every day!

I, for one, would absolutely LOVE a bigger (3" blade) Cricket with aluminum scales (colored, like the Salsa) and dare I say it, a compression lock. It would combine my two favorite small knives, the Salsa and Cricket, and make it a little bit more beefy.

I don't yet have a few knives that I'm betting could challenge for spots in my top 3.

:spyder: :spyder:  :spyder: :spyder:I've carried mine in tip-up, and tip-down, and I prefer tip-down, because I don't need to regrip when it is deployed! My fingers, and hand are where they should be when the folder is drawn

This is true. Unfortunately, I don't carry my knife in a ...

My 3 Favorites

So, I own a short (compared to many of you) list of Spyders -

Delica 2 PE
Calypso Jr.
Endura 3 SE
Salsa PE
Merlin SE
Tenacious SE
SS Cricket SE
Urban Leaf PE

The three that seem to compete for the pocket now are the Tenacious, Cricket, and Urban. I just thought I'd share, since they are three ...

Happy endings for all! The Urban is here!

FWIW, I have ordered a green Urban, but it's been three days and it hasn't shipped yet. :(

Thanks for your comments, everybody. After looking for awhile and examining pictures and such, I pulled the trigger on a green Urban. I think what did it for me in the end is that the shape and size of it really reminds me of a bit of a thinned out Salsa. My Salsa is my favorite knife to have in ...

Okay, so one more thing to think about...if I add the Sage into the mix, the big thing I would consider is grip on the pocket. My biggest reason for not carrying knives I otherwise love is the fact that I feel like I'm giving myself a hyper-wedgie just to get it unclipped from my pocket. This was ...

These pics are exactly what I've been looking for to help me decide on a knife. And I'm really glad you included the clip-side pick with them closed. I find that the angle of the clip when the knife is closed makes a big difference to how it feels in the pocket for me.

It looks like that pits the ...

You didn't give your needs, but here is my reco:
I like the Urban more. It's small, but with the choil I can get my hand comfortably around it. It's a great Gent's knife= Thin, Sharp, Point'y. It has a very efficient blade.
UK is a fine knife, but something about the overall package just doesn't ...

Ok...looking at the pics some more...have to say that the Terzuola would be number one on the dream list, then the Chokwe. Also, I completely forgot about the Stretch 2 FRN. I think FRN is my favorite handle material, and this might replace the Endura 4 on my realistic side. Does anyone know if it ...

I carry a serrated Endura 3. It works great. I would love to get an Endura 4, but spending extra money isn't in the cards right now...

Actually, I've really wanted an Atlantic Salt, though since I'm not planning on buying much too soon, maybe I'll wait until the rescue gets the Endura/Delica 4 ...
