Vassili, you are running out of forums where to post your ramblings. I mean that as a good thing (for us). I think that there is a limit to the "shiny footprints" attitude and you just crossed it for the umpteenth time.

I think to put my mind at ease I will just order another knife using a different carrier from a different knife site. Maybe I will try Cutlery Shoppe. Everyone here here seems to swear by them. Do they offer expedited shipping ? I will investigate. I get my package from them with USPS Priority in t...

I think it is difficult to opine without knowing who the reputable dealer is.
However, I rank UPS as the worst carrier compared to FedEx and USPS. They are slow and very unreliable.

Great points, Kristi.
About the PBJ, I think it is plain stupid, I mean, I don't see how fighting BS with nonsense can be considered a good thing. I stopped posting here because every time there was a discussion about something controversial the PBJ crowd took over and killed the debate.

i don't think another manufacturer was making the fixed blade version. I remember in a post sal saying that about the folding tanto. As far as i know spyderco is the only one who collaborated with bob on that particular fixed blade design. Said company must have stopped production on the folding ta...

I have a couple of the original ones in AUS 8 and would love a 6" blade version, maybe in a more up-to-date steel.

I don't know, there seems to be a general trend towards smaller knives, not only at Spyderco, but also among custom makers, micro and mini are all the rage lately, and I am not talking about bikinis...
I hope that does not mean we will see fewer and fewer full-sized folders like the original Manix.

Mark, if I get your hints right you seem to know something that I don't, so I am going to press you until you spill the beans... ;) Hypothetically speaking -yeah, right-, do you think it is more likely to be a Sprint Run of the old style C95 (maybe in some exotic steel :D ), or a larger version of t...

It only bothers me how dang good the Chinese Spyderco's are for the money =) If you are looking for a "tool" it's hard to justify the expense of beating up something nice and expensive. The Tenacious family is very stout and the new Slipit's like the Kiwi SS are incredible knives for the ...
