I'm sure the earlier model was sold in the states, the amendments were carried out due to problems with the screws not holding the G-10 scales. As to the change of blade to flat ground, I don't know why it was changed but It makes for a much nicer slicer!. :D Alex! ~ Phil bought the G-10 Police just...

Here is your G-10 Police, Phil. Yes it's the original G-10 linerless model with the hollow ground blade. A 'Boye' indent and steel liner was added along with the flat blade style on the later models. Phil is now after my other G-10 Police's....help!

Hmmm...When I see a shaven headed lady I think of Sigourney weaver in Aliens or Sinead O'Connor singing 'Nothing Compares to U'.

It's got to be the old Rookie - with the G-10 scales it just feels so good in the hand. It would be great to see this excellent knife back in a sprint run.

Interesting stuff. I've heard you can get a jagged bezel for the surefire for the purpose of whacking the bad guy in the heid while he's blinded.

I think the 5 'C'cell maglite makes a better club than the 'D' cell model as it's no so fat to get a secure grip...well unless you've got big hands!
