yes, my first Spyderco was an Endura wave. I LOVE the waved stuff. I also have a USN Endura but I am not nearly as brave and mine is never been out of the box.

I personally think that the auto rule is ridiculous. What about a wave or a straight blade? They are quicker than an auto any day!!!!

Go for the tasman salt. It is AWESOME!!!! And the blade shape fully utilizes the spyder edge. As you pull, the curve pushes whatever you are cutting further into the blade. My personal favorite is the yellow handled variety.
