As with most new concepts, there will be some that like the idea and some that do not. Real world testing is still best. When we do such a concept, we try to serve the customer for that idea. While we've been very busy with design and R&D, I will say that we've got a concept model of a flipper ...

I've actually been giving this a lot of thought lately, since i want to try H1 steel, but 1) i hear it's a steel that is best experienced in SE, and 2) i suck at sharpening serrations....so i was thinking when the funds allow it maybe i'll just buy two SE H1 knives of the same kind, and when one ne...

So your decision comes down to your cutting tasks for the D'fly 2. Are you going to be having to saw through netting or any other fibrous material? Or do you need a small slicer? A little of both actually, I just want it to be an EDC blade that I can have as a back-up cutter at work. So anywhere fr...

Jay_Ev wrote:KC has it listed as a combo edge blade. Can anyone confirm if this is true or is it a fully serrated ege? Thanks :)
it's a spyderedge, but there is a small amount of pe at the tip, so they might have just classified it as such.

If you want a D'fly 2 Salt, then get the SE. If you want a PE, then get the VG10 version. That's what I think, unless you live in a very humid climate and want a PE for an all-around EDC. Then the PE D'fly Salt will serve fine but will lose its edge quicker than its VG10 counterpart. Well I work in...

The Dragonfly Salt - PE or SE?

Just curious to hear your thoughts on the PE vs. SE debate for this knife. I will be ordering one soon and I plan on EDCing the knife but can't decide. I have a ladybug H1 spyderedged keychain blade that I use more than anything on me and the majority of my knives are plainedge. I might be leaning t...
