My ukpk is the same way. No problems though. It sets to the right a little but i am right handed so when i push against the blade(and you have to push harder on it than you would a lockback) it doesnt push against the left scale. The UK is my favorite Spyderco. Fits the hand very well. I did a little modification to mine so the blade would sit lower between the scales. The only thing I would like to see changed/modified would be those paper thin PB washers. If Spyderco is going to use PB washers use a little thicker ones ...
