I am surely following the evolution of this knife... but I must say, the beautifully subtle finish on the proto shown in the Amsterdam thread was the first things that drew me in. The clip change I'm good with, because while the other one was visually more appealing, the ambi wire one will likely ...

That :spyder: knife got some good use.

I handled the knife and it has the same type of build as a strider pt.
Small but very strong. (size could be compared to the leafstorm but ergo's on this one are much nicer/better ( i really like the looks of the leafstorm but ergo's are not usable for me))

Another Dutch guy who want to say thanks to the spyderco crew for the well organized spyder meet.


I also was very impressed by the Polish MS techo knife.
The other 1 was the Brad Southard flipper knife.
Both titanium knives with a very nice stonewash finish.
These were also my big favorites.

Thats good news for us Dutchies :D :) .

Jurphaas (the European spyderco employee) is a Dutchman.


And there is a knife show in Germany (IWA show) in the same week.

So the Glessers are in Europe for this show and also visit the Netherlands, Jurphaas is organizing the mini meet in Amsterdam.

I have the pocket bowie for some time now and like it very much.
Great little knife.
Very good ergonomics and a very good 3 finger grip.
Nice high hollow grind but good cutting abilities.
The steel is maybe not the longest edge holding type but for the money you can't complain.
