I owned one plain edge, black FRN Merlin in ATS-55, not VG-10. I sold/traded it on knifebst last year.

i would be very wary of a spyderco that was issued with a white handle,with a little bit of RIT dye, i could come up with a plethora of "rare" colored handles. we have been dying our lacrosse heads here in md for years. I can't seem to remember my username or my password or the email I used to register. I know I'm there, and was validated in green as being here as well. I'll keep trying.

I know it's a brand a lot of people go to but how does it rank up for factory sharpness and overall quality? I want a fixed blade but can't afford to stick to Spyderco for one so I was thinking about getting the basic Ka Bar USMC model.
