I just got mine today and although I haven't practiced for SD opening yet, I do find the detent to be really strong in holding the blade in the closed position. I know it will loosen up a bit with opening and closing so time will tell. I'm really used to opening my Pikal so this is a big change so f...

I'm used to opening my Pikal so this is a bit different.

The people from the wicked edge will do it. I think it's a $1 an inch plus shipping. Send them an email via their web page. They were fast to reply to me.

Definitely the Southard. Not sure on pricing for the Southard but the Techno is pricey. I want one of each but the Southard is first on the list.

I couldn't agree more with this feedback. It's a very well made knife and stout for it's size. But the ergos did not agree with me in any way. I like the Leaf Storm a lot, but I'm one who finds the ergos a bit difficult. I've also nicked myself more with the Leaf Storm than all my other Spydies com...

It's one great knife. I'd go Para 2 first, Sage next and Endura last. They are all great but Para 2 is my fav.

My dad carries a FFG Grey Delica in his back pocket everyday. He's 58. The hole makes it easy for him to open the blade and the back lock is easy for him to manipulate. He loves it. I'm 34 and have been a spydie fan since middle school. The Merlin was my first Spyderco. My best friend had a worker b...

Looking good. BRG=British Racing Green for those not in the know. I opened up the pics hoping to see Burgundy and quickly for find some. Green is cool but Burgundy would have been nicer.

Even though the Para 2 is my favorite to carry and use, I think the Caly 3.5 puts a great slicing and a good SD blade into a very small and easily pocketable package.

Congrats. I joined the Yo club about a month ago. I paid $240 for mine off of ebay. After I did it I was like  "WHAT DID I JUST DO". I got it and do not regret it one bit. I'm downsizing the collection to about 10 total knives as I'm trying to bring down the debt. The Yojimbo will be ...

Bradley Air once it comes out. If you need it soon a locking Kiwi is nice for the office. If you want him to have a pocket clip, the Urban is nice along with the Kopa, Cricket, SS Dfly or Balance would all be nice and they give you options for your spending budget.

I like how small it is when you close it. I sold mine a little while ago when I needed some money. I'll be on the lookout for one when funds are once again available.

Congrats. on the find.

I really like my Large Lum but I notice that it has two different sized washers and the blade is straight but shifted to one side. Anybody else's like that.

the zdp is too ahrd to shapin and the knife is too exspensive for an every day user compared to the 3.5
True about the ZDP but the price is about the same on them.

While I liked the Caly 3 I was not a huge fan of the CF that was used on the knife. I also didn't like the 3.5 as I thought the slender look of the knife was odd but it has really grown on me. The 3.5 is really a beast in sheep's clothing. It disappears in the pocket, even more so than the Caly 3. I...

Valentino. His parents were brought over to the states from Italy so we named him after Valentino Rossi the MotoGP Champ from Italy. I got him as a 1 year wedding gift for my wife. He's too funny. http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm115/vaa76/e810d726.jpg http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm115/va...
