My SPOT is my concealed EDC. I wear it in urban settings as well as the back country. I've adjusted the length of the chain so that it rides between my pecs and it is both comfortable and unseen. Rarely do I take it off and rarely do people know I carry it... except my family and friends who have ...

Hi Samo,
I use and sell Garmin's Gekos, e-Trex and Rhinos. My biggest problem with them (all GPSs for that matter) is their severe battery usage. I can do better (and go much longer) with my SUUNTO watch and topo map (with a needle compass, whistle and Spyderco around my neck for backup). Batteries ...

Hi Sal,
I vote for technology and subscribe to the right tool for the right job. My EDC varies for the city, the back country and water sports. However, when pressed for a multi-knife, my EDC is my SPOT (perhaps the lightest knife I own).
However, when I go off hiking or camping with the guys (not ...

Yikes... cutting about 30 of your kids... that's tough! There's some great suggestions above. I only have a few suggestions: Cut (poor choice of words) the Wrench... it is cumbersome and multi-tools have become a mass market driven by price rather than quality. Ditto for the new saw... tough to sell ...

I can't say it any better than Dave did. I agree with everything he said.
My thanks and congratulations to Sal and the Spyderco crew for this most beautiful and sentimental piece of history. I use every knife I own... except for this one. The knife in its display box have taken a prominent position ...

Prior to wearing my SP<img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>T I had worn a CRKT Bearclaw. Although the Bearclaw is quite functional (and costs less), the difference between the two is tremendous. You always knew the Bearclaw was around your neck due to its weight and shape ...

I just wanted to write and compliment Sal and Spyderco for the SP<img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>T. I have the micata model and find it to be the perfect everyday wear. It is extremely light and can be worn discretely under anything. Around my neck or in my hand, it's ...

Sometimes I wish my memory was half as sharp as my <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>s... What is the name of the <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> neck knife? Any prediction of when it will be available?

I unfortunately agree with Sal's view of the future. However, the nonconformist within me does not subscribe to limiting EDCs to small gent knives, just for the sake of satisfying the PCs. It's the same PCs that want to have someone else take the lead to defend them... "Let's roll" is a too true of ...

We recently picked up a new line of sunglasses, Native. Take a look at their website; http://www.nativeyewear.com/home.htm
I've tried them all on and really like the fit, the optics and the styles. IMHO... I like them better than Oakley and Smith, which we also sell.

A Beautiful Knife... Forum 2002
My knife arrived today (250 of 500) and it is absolutely gorgeous! It's got the sleekest most beautiful lines I've seen on a <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>. Now I know why Jeff equated it with sex... <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0 ...
