Sure, a dealer fronts the cash for a knife to be made but Spyderco can easily say no, you don't qualify because we want people around the world to have a chance to buy this. Spyderco dictates the terms, not the vendor.
Having it at the Spyderco online store should be an option.

Dealer Exclusives
Since we are discussing sprint runs in the other thread, I thought now would be a good time to bring up dealer exclusives. I probably wont get the majority to agree since most of you are probably in the United States but does anybody think that Spyderco should only supply dealer exclusives to dealer...

Hey guys at Spyderco
I was looking at the catalogue today and couldn't find one:
A Byrd with a wharncliff blade. Could we get a cheap version of a Bewharned?

Diamond Rods - do they fit on the bottom of your Sharpmaker
I had my Sharpmaker and diamond rods for a while. I just noticed today that the diamond rods do not fit the bottom of my Sharpmaker by being a bit too long. I checked an the diamond rods are a bit longer then the ceramic ones.
Am I not supposed to use them that way?

I spent a bunch of time with my small Jess Horn on it today on the angle guide...couldn't get a good measurement. I don't think it works well with small knives but its probably just me. Most of the bevel went in the little cutout slot so little contact was made with the angle part. So how much does ...

After I got my set of Shun kitchen knives, my Ying and Yang have been left in my kitchen drawer. sniff I would have liked to have a set of Spyderco kitchen knives but the choice was not there at th...
