I happen to very much enjoy the Shabaria, but thats mainly for the cultural heritage it comes from. But on the end of my list is another FRN Cricket. I think the hinge is too flimsy. I am up for a alumite cricket next, or if they ever got around to it, a G-10 and titanium lined one, like most all of...

Hey, a CQC7 had served me long and hard,...till recently i got a new Calypso Jr. with this new VG-10(i love it!). G-2 is right next to it for me...although the VG-10 has a much smoother grain, and has a RAZOR edge from the factory...the ATS-55 just seemed to grainy. I would rather go with 34 than 55...

Suggestions...I for the most part carry my blades on my pants waist(next to a belt-loop, above my right rear pocket. It is still handy, yet keeps it out of the wandering eyes of "idiots". Not quite as handy as on the pocket, but alot less attention grabbing. Thats my thoughts anyways.

Ignorance must be bliss. Be not mistaken, BM knows their sh*t. ATS-34 blades, Titanium liner-locks, and G-10 scales, that is quality my friend. A different quality than spyders, but definately not lesser. I mean, i love and wear my CalypsoJr FRN, but i dont always want to carry a plastic handle lock...

If only the Cricket came with a titanium liner and G-10 scales, then it would be true knife zen...i guess i shall have to settle for an almite version.

I too just got my Calypso Jr FRN, and it is sweet indeed. It shall be my new utility blade. It will be a true work horse. This is also my first blade with the VG-10 steel, so we'll see how it works out. And its a pleasure for everyday carry, i cant stop smilling. If shopping for one, try ebay. This ...

I am 21. I have my first blade at 5 or 6, it was a stainless steel handled casexx. And i got my first spydie at about 14. It was a G-2 endura. I am very fond of both sydies and benchmades.

I have the "old" police model with the G-2 stainless steel(awesome blade). When i saw that the new ones have the dent, i neatly put one in my lock with my dremel tool. Now its perfect,...well the metal handle could use a little more grip when wet...maybe we could see about some checkering.
