Sal,

Other than four way clip and G10 color change if you change anything else please still offer the current model. It is too good to be messed with and many of the wants could be filled by other knives. The Para is a classic. Update but please don't mess with the spirit. I know you will do the ...

I say Manix 2. Big, bulky at times, heavy, but a great performer.

The Unmissables

I am sure this question has been asked before and in various ways but I think it might still help some of us out here.

What are the :spyder: that are "must haves" or should be unmissables?

I just got the Manix 2 recently and I think every knife lover should get one if just to feel the immense ...

Not a big fan of the Flash series. Don't like the pocket clip, I don't like the rattling of the lock switch. I can't get a grip on the Flash 1 handle even with my "dainty for a man" fingers. One saving aspect is the blade on the Flash 1 is almost as big as on my Caly3. I think the Spin eats the ...

Jimd, Have you ever been to that PA Country Knife store? It is amazing in just the sheer amount of knives. Oh and you will pay FULL Retail on everything. I told them that I found a knife on a website for cheaper and they said they still would not even give me the slightest discount. I fully ...

Wow, quick response guys. Thanks. I think you are both right in that it is just in my head. More than anything else I was seeing if anyone had the same situation. You are also both right in that it is a tank, a great value, and one heck of a knife. I am VERY pleased and these minor "issues" were ...

Manix 2 Questions

I just got my Manix 2 Monday (7/20/09) I believe. I am still breaking it in and I got something on the blade and pivot so I was washing the blade with hot water. The next day I believe I was putting some lubricate in the pivot and lock and now the blade seems to jiggly a bit in the closed position ...

Only PE

MountainMan,

I am not going to quote a book thinking that I am only one that has read it, because I know that many people on this forum have read The Cutting Edge Book of Sharpening. But, in that book the author states that the only reason to have a SE is at restaurants where people are cutting 1/2 ...
