I started to type some comments about pink knives and trying to understand (question) and mentallity of why anyone would want a pink knife. But, since I wouldn't even want much nicer colors like blue, red, orange, yellow, etc. (I prefer folders in black or similar - I used to like folders with black ...

WOW..... Did I miss something???

I never even saw a post either here or on Bladeforums stating it was now available and people already have them in hand.

Luckily, some are still available, but I need to make some finance arrangements before I can purchase.

I am curious to hear and see comparisons ...

Nothing appeals to everyone's taste. The possible "good news" here is, if you really love the knife overall, and the length of the ricasso is the only thing bothering you, someone like Tom Krein could probably extend the edge for you. Yes, that would cost money. I call it the "my way tax", the ...

I am another who is not fond of unneccessarily large ricassos / non-functioning choils.

I like the functional choil designs on the Caly III, Native IV, Sage, Tenacious and similar folders.

But, I am not particularly fond of the Endura and Delica Ricassos.

There are times when I like to use the ...

I am very interested in a Stretch II, but I would much rather the CF finish be more like the CF on the Caly III.

I have posted a question at one time concerning the ability to sand and buff the Stretch II's CF to replicate the Caly III's CF. Someone posted they "assumed" it could be done. But, I ...

I have the Sage, T-Mag and Caly III.

While I think the Sage and T-Mag both look nice, I prefer both the look and feel of the Caly III the best.

Brad's (Tricod's) answer was a good "attempt" to explain, but even he admitted, his post was just his theory.

Brad used plenty of disclaimers including:

I don't have one yet, but from everything I can tell by reading and CAREFULLY analyzing pics and specs, the Native IV is on my list and looks to be a resounding winner in my book.

I also like the smooth CF, full height flat grind, blade shape and shallow belly, ergos look to be top notch, etc ...

I have a Tenacious and I am very confident the lock will do what "I" need it to do.

I have never spine whacked it. But, from what I can tell, the lock seems very solid and secure.

As has been stated, liner locks are not the stongest locks on the market. But, I personally feel too much emphasis is ...

I thought about buying the t mag, but i was real reluctant to because of the fear of the blade closing up on my fingers. Does this knife use the neodymium magnets?

Yes, the T-Mag uses neodymium magnets. But, there are different variations and strengths of neodymium magnets.

Someone actually ...

I buy Spydercos because of the premium steels used. If I need a cheaper, beater for a knife, there are plenty of others out there on the market......

What a (edit by DWRW: "very close to") great knife. Smoothest action since ................ (It has to be smooth for a magnet to pull it open and closed).
The design, the scales and even the roll markings are all first class.

I am very interested in picking up a Stretch II in Carbon Fiber. It is on my "List" and I am sure I will have one within the next month or so.

I would probably get one if it were offered in black.... :(

But, I am also unsure about the blades edge being so far from the handle. I like my sharp edges in very close to my handle. I tend to be bothered by a sharpening choil adding an extra 3/32" more gap.
