If you like word games that you can play by yourself or with someone else, I can recommend Quordy. I thought I would get it to play alone, but ended up playing with a colleague -- we played 7,000 games before we gave it up one day. But we had a lot of fun until then. :)

I agree with cosmo -- #297. Your back-cover line is "Make the headshot." I think that is best and most accurately reflected in #297. I don't like any of the covers with people in them -- you always take a chance on potential readers rejecting the book because they don't relate to the chara...

Some really lovely cats here ... great photos. (Ok, dogs too, but I'm in the cat phase of my existence.) Here's Spooks looking less spookable than usual:

I just went to the Post Office this morning and the PO guy told me that this indeed, is an option. I communicated to the guy and now he says he is not the maker but just coordinated with the smith and it was the smith who raised prices. He now agrees that what the smith did is not right but that th...

Now comes the complication. The items have been shipped to me ... You don't say if you have received them. Since you posted yesterday, it sounds like you haven't so just don't accept them. The post office will have to ship them back. If his products are so popular now, he shouldn't have any trouble...

Your Jester photos make it look like a very attractive knife (and one I hadn't considered until now -- I really have to stop looking at this thread :) ).

Well done!

BEAUTIFUL color in my opinion.
I'm just happy to have a Spyderco that looks relatively friendly when whipped out in polite company. :) I won't be changing the color at all.

I don't think being telepathic is part of the job description of customs officials -- they can't have any idea what your intentions are. There's a rule about knives and they're enforcing it. The same thing happened to me with a wine opener I'd forgotten in my camera bag (actually, I was happy to fin...

Nine months later and I'm just finding this thread -- from a Google search, as it happens -- but it's worth popping it back to the top of the forum just to say that this is a great review and absolutely beautiful photos -- just perfect.

Thanks, as always.

I read the first page but couldn't go farther in this old debate -- just checking in to say I have the best of both worlds (for me): I run Windows 7 on a 17-inch MacBook Pro. In the office, I use a stand for the computer and an external keyboard and mouse. I considered using Mac OS, but there isn't ...

Great Photo's, really great shots. Thank you ... the easy shots are when he's lost in thought, like the last two. The hard ones are like the first two -- as soon as he sees the camera, he heads straight for it, eliminating all photographic possibilities  There's a two- or three-second win...

Life - only two seasons, 31 episodes (but that was just perfect) and it finish with the best ending I've ever seen on a series. Waking The Dead -- British forensic show in which forensics plays about a 20% role, thank god. Mad Men -- and not just because I'm in the business. Deadwood -- just too br...
