I always back up my EDC knife with a multitool. I have Leatherman, Victorinox, CRKT, Gerber and SOG brand tools of different sizes, and I have the Spyderench. as with my knives I have an EDC tool rotation, so even the Spyderench is in my pocket and sees use quite often. I like it, it's a great desig...

I really do Not think there is anything wring with Chinese products, and I guess there is no way to stop China. In ten years time they will be the strongest economic player, Leasing the USA and Europe far behind. I do not think that is much of a problem, btw. Somerset decades ago Japan was the poor ...

Oh come on. Here is Austria all Autos, Balis, OTF, daggers whatever are legal to own and carry. No restrictions on any knives, but "camouflaged" weapons (cane-swords, belt-buckle knives...) - still, I can not order a Bi-Fold, for most dealers refuse to send one to a country where it is leg...

I love the Balance, just have to get one (or more). But 128.- on knifecenter, 199.- MSRP seems to be insane for the tiny thing. I hope the SS version is much cheaper. (Still, I think I´ll get the CF version too)

I really like the Aqua Salt, I´d love to see a "Vagabond" version of it (so bladeguard instead of sheath). I hope there will be new fixed blades. Maybe even new kitchen knives? Come on Spyderco, gimme new fixed blades!

Very nice mate!

I´d spend it on a Sage3 or maybe a Paramilitary2. Or a UKPK FRN. That´s the Spydies I will get for sure in 2010, some others are on my "maybe" list.

My team for the week

Manix2
Police SS SE
Cricket SS SE
Vagabond
Meerkat
Tenacious
Native 4

- i carry all of them quite often, but for there are some other brand knives I carry too I guess a "Spyderco only" week is fun. Replace my Leathermans and Vics with a Spyderench for EDC too ;)

I own a gun, a Glock 19. I am allowed to carry it, for I have a license (that is hard to get here) - I will not carry it. I think sidearms do not belong in the hands of private citizens, they should be allowed to be carried be LEO only. I know, a criminal will still carry one, thats why he is a crim...

I'd actually Love to see a Chinese made Chinese folder. The maker of the Tenacious has proven they can do great quality linerlocks at low price. The Chinese steels are just fine too. So why not?

I would have voted for Victorinox being number 1 EDC brand. Followed by Spyderco and SOG. Maybe it is a European thing, but a SAK is a MUST for EDC enthusiasts. Still, even when I carry a SAK, my main blade is a Spyderco or SOG. The SAK is for situations where my main blade is overkill (I do not nee...

Always. Have some, prefer to carry a Victorinox Spirit or - jo kidding - a Spyderench. It´s a pretty good tool once you get used to it. For light duty EDC I carry one of my LM Juices or even a CRKT Zilla Jr. For Ultralight duty a Swiss+Tech Microtool.

While Spyderco is the brand I like most and own most knives of, I really like some other brands, especially SOG which I think are awesome knives, BM and Fällkniven. Most brands have some quite good knives. So, being a collector, I have Kershaw brand blades too, and have to admit that I like them. Th...

Firefly! GREAT! Maybe the best series ever!

LIFE - I will never understand why they discontinued this one! (And Charly Crews carried a Spyderco Police)

Now: Some, now and then, but only two where I watch every episode: CHUCK and How I met your mother.
