The laminate seems to have potential advantages in production. As I understand, S90V is difficult/expensive to machine and grind while CPM154 is much easier to work with and polish.

Para 2

I am most certainly interested in the NASA version of the bushcraft. But then again, I'd buy a letter opener in CF/S90V... as long as it had a Spyderhole :)

The Para 2 really does live up to the hype. My favorite knife by far. With such high demand and limited production capacity, I really respect your guys integrity in A)Keeping the price down, and B)keeping the quality as high as it is for this exceptional knife.

There was supposed to be a S90V/CF Native coming from way back. If it had a MOP bug inlay... Well now, that would just be over the top.

I'm not doubting either of these "sprints", I hope they both go through. In the case of the Yo 2 though, this will be the very first S90V blade by Spyderco to be anything other that Full Flat Grind. Is this significant? Has this become technically (financially) feasible or will the Yojimbo...

I'm right there with ya Blerv. The Blue/M390 Para 2 is simply a fantastic knife, even for the asking price. Just because it is/was not offered at a "bargain" (sellout) price price like the Orange/XHP (love mine), or the Green/204P (on order), doesn't make it any less desirable or functiona...

WILL own a Southard.
Not sure if it will kick one of my PM2's out of the pocket though.

I'd love to see a Para 2 with an inlaid bug in the scale like the Military forum knife... with some sort of super steel blade. ELMAX perhaps
