my last knife decision was between a mini a100 and the RIL sage, i chose the mini a100 and regret it. the lock up is nice, g10 is superb, love the chisel grind, the simplicity is a plus..... but its no spyderco

the hole, for me, is faster and easier on the thumb then a conventional stud. the bigger the hole the better (leave those sly remarks in your head)

A Emerson/Spydie would be cool...

a coworker of mine and i "designed" our emerson/spyderco colab dream knife whilst standing behind the knife counter at sportsmans warehouse... it ended up looking like a cqc 7 with a spyderhole... in the end i think these two are better off ...

another vote for citizen eco-drive. i own a calibre 8651 and it is plain old sexy. date, month, moon phase, solar powered (6month on a full charge), is relatively light, and can be had for under $200.
