A good strop is a must

Sage2 is close to being the best Spyderco knife ever made.

The ergos on this knife are better than any other fixed blade that I have held.

In a hypothetical survival situation, I would grab this knife before any Mora, no doubt.

You just have to hold one to know what I'm talking about.

The Ti Mil with steel insert will get you close as far as the framelocks go. But the blade, well that's another story.

Maybe S35VN should be compared to VG-10 since it's not quite measuring up to S30V. :eek: :D

I would prefer that manufacturers not replace S30v with a sub par steel just because it's easier to work with.

This isn't really the right forum, but I have to say Kershaw is doing something right. The majority of their folders have nice quality, are made in the USA, and yet, are still very affordable. In fact, a lot of their USA made folders are easily under $100 and feature great steels and materials. Go f...

It sounds like you need to spend more time with the 120grit and don't move the knife.

Looks good. Did you measure blade thickeness at the choil before and after the mod? I'm curious if there was much change. I haven't measured, but So-Lo said he did remove a little steel when grinding off the etchings. The fit has remained unchanged, the centering is still perfect, as is the lockup....

Heck yeah it's gonna get used.

It would be a disservice to Sal, to not put this awesome knife to use.
