Everyone here will agree on the Sharpmaker as you best choice. I don't own one yet as they are bit hard to get hold of down this end of world and I'm really getting a lot of satisfaction sharpening freehand at the moment. Use the search function on the forum as there are plenty of threads on sharpen...

I agree with Diamondback here, you get charged for postage and packing. You'd expect them to do right.

The Caly Jr's is one of my all time favorite Spydie's, its the knife which really got me into Spyderco. However IMHO I see the H1 lineup more geared up as "work knifes", and while the Caly jr's an awesome little knife I just don't see it in that league. Perhaps It would make more sense to ...

Guys, this PPT folder is stunning. This modified bowie shape is looks truly magnificent ( please don't make it more leaf like!) I love both the flat and hollow grind version. Those pics are addictive... I kept having to come back and check this thread every day :) .... Now I wonder what a larger ver...

Well its good to hear where your all coming from on this one. Deacon , Your right, I did completely overlook the likes of the "gentleman's knives". However I cant quite see any body using something like the manix as jewelery. For me the knifes function is #1, and colours have their functio...

Thanks guys, looks like I'll rule out the ZDP 189 this time round. I'll probably go end up going with the Millie as i do prefer the FFG. If I cant find one for a reasonable price then I'll have to decide between the E4W and the Pacific Salt. I really like what I've heard so far about the E4W's serra...

I love this idea of hawk bill / trail point dyad. This would make for one helluva EDC. I've been yearning for a small hawkbill for some time now. This is one I picked up not too long ago, ...not the greatest of knives though. I wonder if we'll ever see a hawkbill make it into the UPK / slipit lineup...

More Serrated Advice needed...

Hi All, I having trouble deciding on which serrated knife to get next. The only SE knife I have used so far is my Native beater, which at the end of day I find the blade to small for a lot of my uses. I've sorta narrowed my selection down to E4W, E4 ZDP189, Pacific Salt & the Military. Ease of c...

Color me glad.

Hi all, I'm still newbie around here, but I'm having a little difficulty understanding why there seems to be an increasing amount of negative comments about certain handle color offerings. As the saying goes "Variety is the spice of life", and I count myself lucky that Spyderco offers the ...

I would only be concerned about the knife opening in your pocket if you were carrying tip up. I've EDC'd mine (Factory tip down) constantly for the past 3 months RRP or IWB with no problems at all. I do keep my blade pivot adjusted relatively tight though.

Well I put down 2... an average of sorts... General EDC :Para D2 Work 1: RRP Para , IWB Caly Jr, Utility belt - Chinook & Large retractable box cutter. Work 2: RRP Para or IWB caly jr for sheeple days & leatherman on utilty belt. (could really do with a small electricians type hawkbill here....
