Never understood why some would want their knife opening as they pull it from pocket.
I sure wouldn't want to have to pull my knife out a certain way to keep it from opening every time I reached for it.
Love the hole, hate the wave.

Just got mine in, and man am I impressed with this combo.
204P is as good as it gets, and the green G10 looks MUCH better in person.
I've had all of the Militaries, and this is my favorite G10 combo yet.

All Spyderco's have went up, and I think the regular Military's are $156 now, so even at $200 ...

Passed on it, and ordered the Green 204P Military instead. It's only a few dollars more during this 3 day sale.

The S110V will be regular production, so if I ever do warm up to Blurple I figure I can get one any time down the road.

Only $24 more than the standard Military is a great deal on the Green CTS-204P.
Trying not to buy much these days, but that was to good a price to pass on.

This G10 looks flat out awesome. I was hesitant about it, and only ordered one. The Natural/Jade looks even better in person, and the satin hardware really stands out on this G10.

I'll go with 440V.
Mainly because its the only Spyderco(an older Starmate) I have with one of the mentioned steels other than Gen1.

Making people buy a model they can't move, and few want, to get the Para is unfreakinbelievable.
Spyderco should not be associated with a company like this(IMO).
They go against every principle Spyderco stands for.
I hope Sal will give them a look.

Foliage Green is my favorite G10, but this one looks a good bit lighter than in the past. More than likely the lighting in the image.

Wish it was anyone else selling it. Even with my favorite G10 I'll pass at paying MSRP.
No biggie though, as I'm happy with the color of the Brown and Green Para 2 ...

I would love to see one with natural Micarta(or any other Spyderco folder with Micarta), but a buffed CF would be great too.

BG-42 Military most of the day, and a 440V Starmate this evening.

I saw a G10 version on Blade Forums last night. It was black.
Not sure if it sold yet, or if they ship abroad.

Thats a great looking knife. I'm not a huge fan of the re-curve, but it looks great on that model.

I have never carried more than one knife and since I moved to Florida and wear light weight shorts with only two front pockets most of the time the other pocket is for my light, so here's my dilemma the Native 5 with 110V blade or the mighty Domino flipper.

I have been trying both knives out ...

CF BG-42 Military. I carry this one more than any other.

Look foward to it. I've been thinking about getting one.

Spyderco has never once NOT listened to what I had to say.

Kind of sounds like they wish they hadn't listened to you about the S35VN, as it cost them a lot of time and money.

I don't think users could tell the difference in the two steels if the knives weren't marked.
Crucible has said they should hold a similar edge and S35VN may be a bit tougher, but I don't think it would be enough to notice. I can't tell the difference, and I've heard the same from others I trust ...

Wasn't Spyderco's fault, and now I'll have more money for the next cool knife !

Micarta is my favorite handle material for all types of knives. I always get it on my custom knives, whether a fixed blade or a traditional folder. I no longer feel the need to buy custom modern type folders, so I would love to see if offered on a Spyderco again one day.
