Re: Cruwear/Smooth G10 Yojimbo Knifecenter exclusive

Judging from the pictures it seems that the shapes of the handles are different? How does this impact the ergonomics?

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

I am not familiar with the Ayoob, are there any reasons for the peculiar orientation of the handle with respect to the blade? I would imagine doing push cuts would be awkward with the handle in this orientation?

Re: Fishing knife

I'm looking for a new plain edged, fixed blade, salt water fishing knife but don't care for the looks of the black blade on the current Aqua Salt. Will the yellow handled, uncoated blade Aqua Salt ever return? What about an Aqua Salt with a LC200N uncoated blade? The Waterway may be an option, are ...

As a matter of fact is it possible to distinguish between FRN and FRCP based on appearance alone? Thanks.

Re: Manix2 4v marbled carbon fiber exclusive

I cannot understand people's complaints about the hollow grind. Given a good steel such as 4V, does the hollow grind really impact the cutting performance in any meaningful way? Not meaning to provoke an argument, just curious.

Re: BHQ with a hap40 Lum Tanto exclusive?

If there are minor centering issues is there anything the end customer can do to correct this without sending it back? (Haven't had this knife, but still going to buy one anyway notwithstanding the comments expressed in this thread). Thanks.

[quote="WireEdge Roger"]Just got mine as well. Very nice. I like it with the CQI changes.

Can someone enlighten me what CQI changes have been incorporated in this model? Thanks.

Re: Centofante Sprint?

Correct me if I am wrong,I think Centofante is one of the thinnest Spydercos, and a sprint run would not do it justice if it is not done in a steel which lends itself to slicing. HAP40 would be nice, but if that is too expensive I am happy with CTS-XHP.

Man, BD1 is not exciting but this is still the only Mid Year that floats my boat do you want to wait a year for sprint with S110V and dark green polished G10 scales (I know, wishful thinking :) )? or get this now? I for one would prefer (and can wait for) S110V steel. Sorry Michael, I do not mean t...

Re: Rhino

I find the the size of the Rhino, in its current version, a tad small. If the length of the handle can be made a little longer to allow a four-finger grip, I would plunge in immediately. If the size cannot be changed, is there a possibility of a larger version ('Rhino XL'?) in future? I really like ...

Re: Amsterdam Meet 2016 Report of Spyderco Prototypes

The current run of Delicas and Enduras drop the spine about 1/2" from the point. The original ones I fell in love with are a straight spine from the thumb ramp all the way to the point: Hello demoncase, I didn't noticed the small drop until you mentioned this. Is there a functional reason behi...
