Palladium does not react with oxygen, like silver does. I doubt fingerprints would affect it.

Hmm, I just checked mine an its as shiny as the day I opened the box. I'd try a little Flitz or Semichrome if some stropping paste doesn't work.

Not sure about the lock as I don't have any Spydies with a CBBL.
But as to the lanyard tube being loose, I had an ATR that had the same issue. Couple of drops of loctite fixed the rattle. Sounds like the same on yours.

I agree with what others here have posted. Send that baby in. ZDP is a breeze to "keep" sharp, but can be a pain to rebevel even with diamond rods. $5 and a couple weeks without it is worth it in this case.

I'd pick up both, no matter the edge/color combo. Like Jossta mentioned, you can always trade down the road. Who knows, you might fall in love with something you previously didn't care for. I've had that happen several times.
