Re: Rock Jumper comparison thread + general info

I hope my beloved SE wharnie Delica is one of those “most popular models” Sal :spyder: I can imagine it would be a bit of a logistical nightmare to make everything in a Salt variant, and who knows if the rest of the casual knife using world will even care, but I've said it before I will likely buy ...

Re: Rock Jumper comparison thread + general info

Hi Tangent, Eric's long term plan is to make a Salt version of most popular models. sal Just saw this...that's awesome. Looking forward to it...each time I think "Spyderco can't improve on this..." and then Spyderco improves on it. The Rock Jumper feels great in the hand and is smooth as butter. I'...

Re: Rock Jumper comparison thread + general info

I just got mine today in plain edge. I love it. It's a homerun as far as I am concerned...however...

Sal, any plans to do a salt version? I think a serrated H1 version and a plain edge LC200N would appeal to a LOT of people.

Now that I have your attention, wouldn’t it be great to have this knife in LC200N? This is my homemade wharncliffe salt. What do you say, Sal? Toxic green scales? :)

Re: Good kayak knife?

The Pacific Salt is perhaps the best all-around folder of its size for a true user knife. Lightweight, rustproof, thin, and in serrated it will cut through just about anything. And stays useable sharp for a very long time. Hard to beat.

Re: Rockjumper discussion

Yeah, I've come to the conclusion that there must be some kind of problem getting LC200N Salt blades made with linerless FRN. It's really obvious that many people on the forums want them...not sure why we haven't seen one come out yet. (excluding the Native Salt)

Re: Rockjumper discussion

I like it...I like a lot of the newer knives that are coming out. My only hope is that we will start to see some of these liner FRN knives come out in linerless Salt versions. Please, sal...?

Re: Rockjumper discussion

I wonder if a salt version, which is linerless of course, requires a completely different mold. Does anyone know? It seems like this is a sort of Endela sized knife. I really look forward to giving this one a try. But as many of you all know, I love the Salt versions because of the linerless handles.

Re: Pacific Salt 2

I like liners only when it’s -20° Celsius and below. Little more strength for the brittleness. I love light knives. Don’t know how some people can carry heavy a$$ pocket brick brass handles and such. I actually don’t mind the Delica and Endura liners, though. Not much extra weight, but more strengt...

Re: Pacific Salt 2

I think all delicas, enduras and endelas should be linerless. Lighter, easier to maintain, simpler, etc. The liners aren’t needed. Some people prefer them, but they are 100% unnecessary in my humble opinion.

Re: First Spyderco knife to obtain in 2020?

I'm not buying any Spydercos until they release the LOOOOONNNNGGG awaited LC200N Salts.

Getting a little frustrated waiting so long for a knife that I know a lot of people want.

Re: Linerless: Any issues?

No advantage to having liners in my usage and numerous advantages to linerless. My linerless knives (salts) get used FAR heavier than any other folders I own. I have never had the slightest issue with strength or integrity with linerless frn knives. Same story with G10. The main advantages for me a...
