Re: Native Chief LW
I am still on the fence about the idea of dying handles, some people seem to have no problems, but others have had it start to rub off over time which is what I'm afraid of. I really don't want it to rub off and stain anything or look worn out as a result of it coming off. I would prefer not to Rit...

Re: Knife trends you just don't understand?
Not really a tend but Lanyard holes. Not sure why most knives need them and on Spyderco's they are just a hole drilled in the handle. Sometimes at the expense of egros. I’m a bit torn on this one. In a previous position as a field engineer, I did a lot of working at height, where you can’t bring an...

Thanks for all your responses. I will try the Spyderco Swap first and if no luck then look elsewhere. I will keep this updated on how it goes.

Best place to sell some Spyderco’s online
I was wondering where the best place to sell some of my Spyderco’s would be. Is the Reddit forum "Spyderco Swap” still active and effective? I used Craigslist previously but things on there are slow and painful. eBay is a ripoff these days IMHO. I have tried previously to post off Facebook but ...

Re: Who needs a lanyard hole?
I am in the don’t care for them camp. IMHO I feel they should be looked at for specifically which model it is being designed for. A gentleman's folder or then no. A salt knife then yes. A huge folder then probably no. Like others have said when they compromise the clip placement for the hole then it...

Also the lanyard holes. IMHO to much compromise given to have one on some models

Re: What you don't like about spyderco knives?
I like most things Spyderco. The only gripe I have is color scheme. IMHo they have painted themselves into a corner with color schemes tied to a particular steel. I feel this doesn’t allow for much variety. If you like K390 and dont like the blue then you are SOL. I like the green for the salt line ...

Re: Forumites vs. Normals
Spyderco is very close to their loyal customer base. They listen. They also produce a product that is designed for users. We on this forum are gatekeepers for those around us. We are rabid loyal and would recommend Spyderco to anyone who asks. It is easy to recommend something that is made to be use...

Re: Forum Knife???
We've thought about it and discussed it, but discussion hasn't proved to be fruitful. There is so little consensus that when we did make them, complaints were many and sales were poor. sal Maybe make them a preorder that way it would help mitigate the risk? Maybe only engrave a portion of blades be...

I believe Sal said he was working on a larger version of the Enuff. I am hoping for a bit thinner stock as well. Sounds like a winner. Hopefully LC200N.

Interesting idea. We have the Dragonfly - Delica - Endela - Endura lineup. So why not a Lil Native - Native - Mid Native - Native Chief lineup?

Re: The "compression made easy"-device - does it actually improve the comp.lock?
To me this is in the same category as a zip tie on the hole or the wave feature on a knife. I have 0 interest in any of them but if it appeals to people then why not? Also this could be interesting because if something like this takes off then I am sure Spyderco will notice and maybe alter future de...

Re: FRN Take Over...
I have come not to like G10. I like the smooth G10 on the Pattadese but that texture is the exception for G10 and not the norm. FRN for me is enough what I need it to be but is lighter and cheaper. FRN is textured can contoured better than most G10 (IMHO) (although the Shaman is bucking this trend)....

Re: Para 3 LW poor scale grip vs D4
I actually like the grip on the para 3. I feel a secure grip is achieved by shape and not texture as much. It is smoother in and out of pocket than some of the grippier FRN and much more so than standard G10. I have never had a problem with slipping or handling issues because it has less texture tha...

Re: Enuff XL
I am hoping for a plain edge LC200N but can live with a H1 fully serrated. I also prefer the green way more than the yellow though not a deal breaker. This looks like a fantastic do it all knife as long as it is not too thin (which I am not really that worried about). Any way you cut it Spyderco kee...

Enuff XL
I saw the video where Eric was talking about this. Looks great/ He said it would be H1. Why? Why would they not do LC200N for the plain edge at least. Why if introducing a new model would they use a now outdated blade steel? I have heard that serrated H1 is superior but not in plain edge.
