Re: glove compartment knife?

Used to carry Assist in glove compartment until it got stolen twice - by valets or car mechanics. After the first theft, I would take it out when someone else had access to my car, but forgot...so now, nothing is in the car.

Re: Spyderco Screw vs Pinned issue again.

So, I have a different angle on this - this probably doesnt belong here, but I cant find a perfect discussion (yet). This is about changing scales from pinned SS to something else screwed together. I have a SS Navigator (my favorite all time Little Big Knife - yes, even over the Dfly) and want to ch...

Re: Stainless steel handled Spydies

Thx. I was very active for about 4 years and then life got complicated. Nothing horrible, got laid off in 2012 and then jumped into a time consuming startup that took me out of the game.

Re: Stainless steel handled Spydies

So, this is probably not the post to ask this question, but my searches didnt find closely related posts. I have two SS navigators (my alltime favorite Little Big Knife) and I want to change the scales out for G10 or CF. This is tricky since SS is pinned and I want to go screw assembly (if possible)...

I don't get around here to read or post much nowadays, but saw this announcement and wanted to send my congratulations to the Glessers and everyone at Spyderco.

I love the remote release. Great backpacking knife that I keep on my front left pack strap. I wish it came in PE though. I use mostly the RRII, but I bought a used RR that Im going to get reprofiled to PE. Figure I only paid 20 for it, so worth the gamble. What spuld be cool would be an RRII in litt...

To pile on...Techno has turned into one of may favorite EDCs. It is small, fits comfortably in pocket with nice rounded handle and is tough. Stone wash makes me feel like I dont have to baby it and I dont worry about handing it to someone like I might with a CF scale knife. And of course, I had my b...

I use my Spydies for wood carving - mainly just carving walking sticks - a hobby of mine. I am NOT an expert - there are other guys here who do magic. I usually rotate my Spydies throught. Use the larger blades for removing bark, small branches and rough shaping - Endura, Manix, PM2, etc. For Next s...

Great post and pics. The Navi is my favorite LBK of all time. The handle ergos are perfect and nice NKP friendly size. I like it better than the respected Dragonfly!! I have 3 of them. One blue slotted almite like yours and two SS handled saber ground versions. One of the SS ones is to be rescaled w...

I would love a PM2 mini! I guess that would compete with the Caly 3/Delica size knife category. I would bet $100 that it would sell like hotcakes and add some more pizzazz to the medium folder lineup! Im in!
