They are cheap, I paid 6 bucks each for the ones that I bought. Also this is the first knife that I have given my wife that she says she could use and is interested in carrying.

Eeeek I've got Bugs!!!

Just received today 3 Bugs! Like many of you I don't like 'made in China' stuff. However, these Bugs are great! Some will say that they are 'too small' to be useful as knives. I say that, yes, they are small, but, they are Spydercos, they are sharp and, I only paid $5.99 Canadian each. 1 is for my ...

I agree that the Spin is a '2 finger knife'. But that's what I like about it. I carry it in addition to a larger knife. It attracts little to no attention when you deploy it. If I need something bigger, I have it.

I made a paracord sling a few years back. I wrapped a wet piece of leather around a golf ball to form a pocket. The paracord pieces are about 40" in length but I find them a little short. I try to sling rocks about the size of a hen's egg. The power that slings are capable of is amazing. Accuracy ...

I carry a ZDP Endura at work. Honestly, a Delica would be just as good (maybe better). As much as I kike big knives, I find that the Endura can, occasionally, feel uncomfortable in the pocket ( but I love it and carry it anyway).

Generally speaking, thin blades are the way to go. There are, however, times when a thicker blade (particularly on fixed blades) is the way to go. I use both.

Love the sound of my ZDP Caly 3. I'm glad to hear that the P'kal sounds so good since that is my next purchase.

I used to despise SE and thought that CE was a cop-out. I've come to realize, however that there is a place for serrations. When I travel by car I now take a blade with at least combo edge so I can quickly cut seatbelts in an emergency.

While it is true that carrying anything as a weapon in Canada is illegal, self defense (athough you better be sure you can prove it) is not. A year or two ago here in Calgary a guy was attacked while waiting at a bus stop. The 'bad guy' attempted to strangle the 'good guy' with a set of booster ...

I often carry a small knife in addition to a larger folder. Sometimes it could be a Jester or Micro Dyad. Other times it could be a traditional slipjoint by Queen, Buck, Case, Shrade, or Camillus. There is something kinda neat about carrying and using these classics.

New to forum

Hey everyone. I'm new to the forum but have been a long time addict. It all started back in about 1990 when I made the 'mistake' of buying one of the original Delicas (which I still have, by the way). I know I will not find sympathy here but a little comiserating now and again would be good.
