Just buy a Benchmade ERT-1; it was literally made to cut seatbelts and shatter windows.

Mm, you made me log in and check the main Spyderco site. The Lava is still up for sale, so either it's a false alarm, the Spyderco site hasn't been updated yet, or indeed Lava shipments are starting to taper off. Whatever it turns out to be, I'm glad I bought one; it's a very friendly knife, and I h...

Actually, it seems that late last week, USPS decided to take a few days off. I was corresponding with an eBay seller and my mother; both sent me simple things in the mail on Wednesday/Thursday only a few hours away from me, and I didn't get them until Monday/Tuesday.

A SE Tasman Salt is clipped to the back of the inside of my jeans. I never used it in public before (the Lava has done well so far), but it's always nice to know I have it in case I need to use it.

I definitely would not trust sites like that.

On a side note, they aren't even listed on resellerratings.com, so again, I'd say just go to a trustworthy site (or eBay.com) and buy the knives from there.

I'd say Lava too, but in my opinion, the weight you must take in mind, since it's pretty much a solid chunk of steel making up the main bulk of the knife. Jeans are fine, but those thin sport pants? Heh, I had to tie my pants tight in fear if I jumped around too much, my pants would start falling on...

Mmm, my arsenal, I mean, EDC carry-on is: 1.) Tasman Salt SE clipped to back of pants 2.) Lava clipped to front left pocket 3.) Delica 4 [Emerson] PE back left pocket Now, my reasoning is that the hawkbill design of the Salt is made for pulling and tearing cuts without mercy, thus SE makes the most ...

I carry a Surefire E2D Defender...Great light... Yar, I carry the updated version of it (the water-resistant dual-output LED model), and I find it too uncomfortable to carry EDC, esp. in jeans and with my BlackBerry and other knives in my pocket, so I just carry it around at night. Funnily enough, ...

It's great, and I do get a lot of stares and a few questions (mine has the USA colors), but the red side is rather "sticky" and refuses to flop around as loosey-goosey as the blue side. I've tried to flex the plastic, but it has only helped a little and I'm afraid of snapping it off. If an...
