Several years ago I stumbled on some new in box Delicas , Enduras , and Rescues in ATS-55 . I bought a serrated Delica And a combo edge Delica . I handled a Combo edge Endura. I wish I had bought it. THey are all gone now . I really like ATS-55. It feels much sharper than VG-10. I understand there w...

I have a Manix 2 SE . I was able to get it a little cheaper . probably because it is fully serrated. It is super strong and sharp. With practice you can open and close it one handed. It is a knife which you just like to hold and admire the details.

Wish I could have gone ... but my wallet is happy that I couldn't :D Pity about the ban on photos - I wonder why that is? Worried about China copying stuff? Surely all the usual knife makers would have been there anyway and could have seen the knives first-hand? With so many Spyderco rip...

I have used my Tenacious for a long time now. No rust , but something like streaks or tooling marks have appeared on the Spydie side of the blade. Didn't notice these the first couple of months . Strange.

I think a low riding clip on a G10 Delica would be great. An anodized dull black clip would be good too. I am seeing other knife companies making a low riding clip which can be reversed for right or left hand carry. I would definately buy a serrated G10 Delica made like this.

Don't have anything I plan to buy right now. If the forthcoming FFG Delicas would be serrated I would definately want one.

I heavily used a Centafante III shortly before I retired . It was sent back to Spyderco where they did a great job restoring it.

It's always possible for any knife , tip up or tip down to get opened in your pocket. The most hazerdous knives I believe are the assisted opening ones with no safety or the safety off. I had a bad experiance with one and I am glad Spyderco has avoided them.

I have the serreted Manix 2 . It is holding up great. You have to use both thumb and finger to close. You get more proficient with extended use. Great knife and a great bargain. I don't own a S30V so I can't compare. 154 CM is definately better than VG-10.

Already got my Manix 2 and FRN Stretch , so I am happy. Would like a FFG Delica 4 fully serrated in Grey. I know Sal said first ones would be plain edge though. :(

Ats-55 steel

My two ATS-55 Delica 3's are the absolute sharpest Spyderco knives I own, even more so than any VG-10 I own. Why was this steel replaced ? Forgive me if this has been discussed before.

If you compare them the FRN Stretch falls somewhat in between the Delica and Endura . A gooD compromise. Just costs more.

Keeping within a 30 - 40 minute drive from my house I can think of only one place that regulary sells Spydercos. It is an army-navy storeThey have a modest selection. I bought my Endura 4 from them. Another Army - navy store may have some Spydies but they have mostly Benchmades, A gun store has some...
