Re: Is this the knife everyone clamors for?
I have one of these, but I never use it because the handle is too thick. The blade stock is fine, but I wish the over all thickness was more like the CBBL Manix 2. Then it would have been **** near the perfect knife

If I remember correctly, it was the first FFG Delica before they started producing them in FRN

Re: Upping the price.
Hurts to see some folks actually comparing the prices of USA made and china made knives. The reasons should be obvious with or without lengthy explanations. The price increases hurt, so I reduce my purchases per year but continue to buy USA made. China made is simply not something that would ever en...

Re: So, Sal, is the Caly3 model extinct ?!
Could be the case. My only experience with the Caly Jr. is a stainless handle one which I thought was pinned like the SS Delicas and Enduras, but now that you mention it, maybe only the lock bar pivot was pinned. In fact, I think it might have been you that I sold that SS Caly Jr. to on eBay many ye...

Re: So, Sal, is the Caly3 model extinct ?!
Is it possible for a future Caly Jr. sprint to be screw construction instead of pinned?

Re: 2023 - Did your preferences change or stay the same?
Now I prefer corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening over edge holding
I also prefer Wharncliffe blades now
But I still prefer tip-down carry

Re: Flattening a stone
Hi Sparrisen, Welcome to our forum. The medium grit ceramic stone is as fired. It should be flat enough to sharpen a knife though. I do not know of any way that you could made it flat. Some have tried to use a diamond stone try to do so, but results are questionable and it ruins the diamond stone, ...

Re: Thanks, Spyderco!
The members of the Spyderco Crew were also happy to help you to find a model you're looking for. The Crew members will stand among the tables and continuously sort knives to keep the different models together in the trays. But while doing so, you can ask them whether they've seen a certain model yo...

Re: Thanks, Spyderco!
I have to say, I was extremely impressed by all of the staff, from the folks holding the raffles and challenges in line to the folks at the registers and on the floor helping with logistics. Every Spyderco team member was enthusiastic and also very knowledgeable about all of the products. What a gre...

Re: Clip Screws Too Long on Byrd Robin
Sounds like somebody assembled it with the wrong screws at the factory
I have done mods with 3rd party screws, and I used a bench grinder to shorten them for similar issues with tip-down carry. Be careful that you didn't damage the washer when putting the long screw in

I have been eyeing this for the past few days. I pulled the trigger on it in case you bringing attention to it causes it to sell out. How has it stayed in stock for so long?
